During the holy month of Ramadan: Sbitany gets ready to launch a cooking program “Lo’meh Hanieh”


Akram Sbitany & Sons (Sbitany) is preparing to launch a Ramadan special cooking program particularly targeting mothers and housewives, under the name “Lo’meh Hanieh” which means Blissful Bite with host chef Hiba Jitan.

The program will be broadcasted during the month of Ramadan, and will include 30 episodes with a new daily recipe prepared by Chef Jitan in an easy and enjoyable cooking experience. Each episode will not exceed the duration of 13 minutes, making it a breeze for housewives to prepare special Ramadan spreads this year.

Prepared recipes vary between main and side dishes, bringing together eastern and western flavors with an array of soups, juices, and various desserts.

The program breaks away from traditional cooking programs with the simplicity it brings forth and the genuine domestic setting that appeals to housewives. All episodes were shot using modern cameras, ensuring a high level quality and accurateness.

The company also aims through the program to demonstrate and showcase its best collection of kitchen tools. World renowned kitchen product brands used on the show include: Ballarini, Ghidini, Snips, Philips and Libbey, that comprise of cooking equipment and utensils.

Chef Jitan stated that she found the functionality of the cookware to be quite impressive, with features that help housewives prepare quick yet healthy and scrumptious meals. She then elaborated more on the products’ styles and exquisite designs, and conveyed her joy with her collaboration with a renowned, high-scale company such as Sbitany, that has marked a new chapter in her career as a chef.

The production of the program was made possible through Sbitany’s crew of digital media experts, and filming equipment found in company stores. Furthermore, this initiative is a result of the company’s investment strategy in the skills and expertise of its staff.
